The gingerbread man

I read "The gingerbread man", usborne first reading, level three book.

A little old woman makes a gingerbread man,
but when she opens the oven door, he runs away.
Soon, everyone in the village is chasing after him.
Will anyone ever catch him?

This story is about the gingerbread man which a little old woman made escaped.
I think that this whole story is very interesting because
every one chased after him because of his smells.
But in the last scene, it was very shoking.
That he was eaten by fox😢
