What was it like?

I read "What was it like?" Oxford Reading Tree, level 8 book.

The children are in a play about War World Two.
They fine it hard to be serious.
Then the magic key takes them back in time.

The children decided to play about World War Two.
Because they hardly know about the war,
it was difficult for them to play it.
Then, they will be told about the war from the magic key adventure.
What they will learn from it?

Most impressive part is to experience bombing.
For example, there were a lot of buildings were burnt
and a lot of people were in the shelter to escape from bombing.
I thought that it is good thing to know about war.
