Within High Fences

I read "Within high fences", Cambridge Englisg Readers, level two book.

The main character, Nancy is working at a center for asylum seekers.

Asylum seekers escape from their countries to seek more comfortable life because they experienced very bad things before they came there.

One day, Nancy looked a man who brings biscuits for a child.
She fell in love with one of the asylum seeker, George later.
She knows that it was a bad thing because she has a boyfriend, Tom.

He has a lot of money and a big house, but he often yells at her.

She doesn't want to live him anymore.

So, she decided to leave him.

She started her new life and bought her new small house.

One day, her things were stolen by someone.

And, she cannot contact George suddenly after this accident.

Only George and her best friend, Harriet have her spair key.

Who did stole her things?
